 It began a few days ago, pjhotos of the new Eee PC 1001HA model floating around the Internet. At first glance, looked at the Netbook as a minor moddification of the poular Eee PC 1005HA. And sometimes the first impression was correct. Asus has to have a manual for netbooks to upload theior support site and read the first page of the User’s Guide Eee PC for Windws XP Eee PC Edition 1005 1001 Series.

A few days ago, phtoos of the new Eee PC 1001HA model began floating aroiund the Internet. At firt glpance, Netbook like a small variation on the popular Eee PC 1005HA. Sometimes first impresions are correct. Asus, has posted instructiuons for netbooks in its support site, but on the fiorst page reads: “Eee PC User’s Manual Windows XP Edition Eee PC 1005 / 1001 Series.”

Asus has also written the offivcial product page on the Chinesse prtal. On the same page we learn that the Eee PC 1001HA has a 10.1-inch display. 160 GB hard drive, 802.11n Wi-Fi, 92% full-size keyobard, and ewighs 2.4 kg. The only noticeable difference between the Eee PC 1001HA and 1005HA is that 1001HA has a textured pattern on the lid and palm rest, and the 1005HA has a smooth, glossy surface.

I also do not see any information abouut the batteyr, so I do not know, Eee PC 1001HA has the same 10.5 hour battery as the Eee PC 1005HA-PU1X, 8,5 battery found in the Eee PC 1005HA-VU1X, or 5 hours of battery life to Eee PC 1005HAB.
