Understanding Celebrity Gossips (alaskan native history)

Celebrity Gossips and Human Nature
It is very interesting to note that how much we are interested in the lives of the other people especially the lives of the celebrities. This is not something totally new to this century; researches show that these tendencies have their roots in prehistoric times. In prehistoric times people lived in smaller groups and every thing happened within that group and everyone knew everybody. There were no strangers among them; if you are a stranger then you were not worthy enough to live so they eliminated the strangers in their own way.
Such a lifestyle also meant that they should be aware of their competitors within their group because they had to fight amongst themselves when it came to sharing of resources that were often limited. When these groups started becoming bigger, they were unable to keep track of their primitive transactions and with whom they could liaise, who were the cheaters in the group, who is a fertile mate etc. So they had to pry into the private dealings of other members of the community and often the one who knew more about others was considered powerful; probably that is where all these started. They had no other choice to be interested in other peoples business. Over the centuries this quality has got ingrained into our genes and it is part of each ones personality now.
Today the same trait can be seen in a different way because it is no more relevant to our lifestyle today. However, for certain people it is still a preoccupation, people who fight to cling on to success or to be more successful than the others. A general interest in celebrity gossips is basically part of human nature. Interestingly, in spite of such great refinement in our reasoning abilities we are still unable to shed this trait. It has actually gone to the other extreme; we are often interested in items that are not newsworthy in anyway.
We are very keen in knowing about the celebrity breaking gossip and show great interest in talking about it with the others. Is it our way of establishing that we are more powerful than the others, better than the others because we know more than the others? It is very difficult to put our fingers on what exactly fascinates us still about celebrity gossips. We dont have to break our heads on this because it is almost a socially accepted phenomenon in todays society to spread gossip and be interested in gossip. So if it interests someone, then let them indulge in their dose of gossips.

How to Be a Top Stock Trader
By Roberto Garabelli
It’s easy to buy stocks. But buying now and turning those same stocks over for a profit is not quite so simple. Knowing when to buy and sell takes proficiency, and that takes time; you won’t learn it from just one article. But if you want to learn the ABCs of stocks, then roll up your sleeves and keep reading!
Most important what is “stock?” Very simply, stock is the ownership of a corporation that is represented by shares. You might hear stock and “equity” used interchangeably. When you buy stock or equity in a corporation, it means you become one of many owners of the company. This ownership means you have a stake in the company’s assets and earnings. It doesn’t matter if your share seems tiny or insignificant.
Buying and selling stocks is done through an exchange. An exchange is an organized market that’s been designed exclusively to buy and sell stocks, bonds, options and futures. Before you can buy stock, you must be a member, or have what is called a “seat” in the exchange. For most of us, though, this just isn’t realistic; the price for a seat on an exchange can run into the millions. Another method for buying and selling stocks is to use a company or other entity with a seat on the exchange.
When you own stock, you are entitled to certain rights and privileges. If you decide you no longer want your shares, you can sell or transfer them to another person. But you can also increase your stake by buying more. With some stocks, you can actually have a voice and vote on corporation issues. But how much you vote counts may depend on the percentage of shares you own.
Shareholders also have a right to be informed; whenever corporation changes are made, you will receive notice by mail. If the company makes a profit and has money to spend, you may be entitled to dividends. But the board of directors has the right to decide whether to pay shareholders in cash or stock dividends.
There are two kinds of stock for sale Common Stock and Preferred Stock.
New investors will quickly discover that Common Stock is more popular than Preferred Stock. One aspect of being an owner of common stock is that you share in both the risk and reward of the company. If the company’s value goes up, so will your stock. If the company pays dividends, you’ll receive them in one of two forms: either cash or stock dividends. Common stock usually means you’ll also get voting rights. You will be allowed to cast your vote on management decisions and corporate policies through a proxy.
Preferred stocks also give you a stake in a corporation but add a few more perks. Preferred stockholders are first to get a dividend payout. Common shareholders have to stand in line. If the corporation folds, preferred stockholders are entitled to any remaining assets but only after all the creditors are paid. Essentially, this places the preferred stockholders ahead of common shareholders when it comes to collecting any remaining assets. Another difference between the two is that preferred stock does not go up in price as would common stock. Another important point preferred stock does not offer voting rights.
Feel ready to start buying and selling stock? The next step is to open a stock trading account. Although there are many types of brokers available on-line, you’ll most likely want to work with one known as a “discount broker.” Offering even cheaper per trade commissions are “deep discount brokers.” You’ll find many of them online, too. And don’t forget — It’s always a good idea to compare several brokers before you pick one. Good luck!

The Best Way To Use Air Miles Credit Cards
By Peter Kenny
These days there are many different credit card types around to choose from, and one group of credit cards are known as rewards based credit cards. There are a number of different rewards that you can choose from within this category, and one of the reward types available is air miles, which can prove invaluable to those that tend to travel abroad a lot whether on business or for pleasure. Travelling by air can be expensive, and every little can help when it comes to cutting costs on air travel. With an air miles credit card you can enjoy earning miles that can save you money on the cost of air travel, which is great whether you are a business or a leisure traveller.
Air miles credit cards are available from a range of providers and as with any other credit card it is important to compare the different cards and providers in order to determine which is going to be the most suitable card for your needs. These cards are best suited to those that pay their credit card balance off in full each month and therefore do not pay interest, as otherwise the amount that you pay in interest will far outweigh the rewards that you receive.
With an air miles credit card you earn miles for every pound that you spend on the card on purchases, so the more you use the card and the more you spend on it the higher the number of miles that you accrue. However, you should bear in mind that no miles are given for cash transactions or withdrawals, and in fact you will be charged high fees and interest charges for such transactions so they are best avoided if possible. The number of air miles awarded per pound spent can vary from one provider to another, and this is why it is important to compare the different deals and try and maximise on the number of air miles that you can earn by spending on the card.
If you do not travel by air regularly then there is little point having an air miles credit card, and you may find that some other type of rewards based credit card is better suited to your needs. If you do not spend on your credit card regularly it may also not be particularly suitable, as it will take far too long to build up the number of miles that you need.
When looking for an air miles credit card you do, of course, have to check to see how many air miles you can earn per pound spent on the credit card. However, there are also other areas that you should look at. For example, you may find that some cards that offer a higher number of miles per pound spent charge a hefty annual fee, and this may be something that you prefer to avoid, so make sure that you look at the bigger picture before you make your decision.
